By using The Half-Said you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who you are dealing with
The Half-Said is operated by Daniela Lozano, an individual based in Bogotá, Colombia. Purchases are sold and invoiced by Polar as merchant of record. Questions: support@thehalfsaid.com.
What we provide
A self-reflection questionnaire and a report generated from your answers. The report is assembled from pre-written text selected according to your scores. It is general content matched to a score range — not individual advice written for you, and not reviewed by a professional before you receive it.
No professional relationship
Using The Half-Said does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or any other professional relationship. We are not licensed clinicians. See our disclaimer for the full picture.
You must be 16 or older
By using the service you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
What you may not use this for
You may not use The Half-Said, its questions, or its reports to evaluate, screen, or make decisions about any other person. This specifically includes employment, hiring, promotion, dismissal, admissions, credit, lending, insurance, housing, immigration, child custody, and legal or judicial proceedings. The service is not validated for any of those uses.
You also may not:
- resell, redistribute, or republish reports or report content;
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the questions or the report library;
- present the results as a clinical, medical, or diagnostic assessment;
- use the service to harass, profile, or make claims about another person.
Your report is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share your own result freely.
No guarantee of accuracy
We do not warrant that your report is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose. It reflects how you answered on one occasion. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for decisions you or anyone else makes based on a report.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Payments and refunds
Purchases are one-time and nothing renews automatically. Polar acts as merchant of record and is the seller on your invoice. See our refund policy, which explains how the EU and UK right of withdrawal applies to instantly delivered reports.
Changes and termination
We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the last revision, and material changes will be announced on this page. We may suspend access for anyone breaching these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, and the courts of Colombia have jurisdiction. This does not remove consumer rights you have under the law of your own country of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the mandatory protections of your local consumer law and may bring proceedings where you live.
